How to play Ao’yin

Early Game

Focus on safe farming and avoid unnecessary fights. Stay behind your Support, use your Dragon Souls to trade safely, and prioritize gold and experience so you can reach your core items quickly.

Late Game

Stay behind your frontline and focus on consistent Basic Attack damage. Use your Ultimate to reposition or start a favorable fight, then switch Dragon Souls when needed to deal damage, heal, or control enemies.

Overall

Ao’yin is strongest in extended fights. Farm patiently, maintain good positioning, and use your Dragon Souls and Ultimate at the right moment to maximize damage while staying safe.

Ao’yin combo

Basic Combo: Skill 2 → Skill 1 → Basic Attack. Use this to safely trade, trigger your Dragon Souls, and deal consistent damage.

Chase Combo: Skill 3 → Skill 1 → Basic Attack. Use Skill 3 to close the distance or reposition, then follow with Skill 1 and enhanced Basic Attacks.

Team Fight: Skill 3 → Skill 1 → Basic Attack → Ultimate. Use your Ultimate when enemies are grouped or when you need to reposition and continue dealing damage. Ao’yin can also switch Dragon Souls during his Ultimate, allowing you to adapt to the situation.

Ao’yin Team

Ao’yin + Dolia: Extra Ultimate potential gives Ao’yin more opportunities to engage and deal damage.

Ao’yin + Yaria: Yaria’s shield and protection help Ao’yin survive longer and maintain DPS.

Ao’yin + Zhuangzi: Strong protection and CC removal help Ao’yin stay safe against enemy crowd control.

Ao’yin + Guiguzi: Reliable engage and crowd control make it easier for Ao’yin to follow up with sustained damage.

Defeat Ao’yin

Pressure Early: Ao’yin scales into the late game, so punish him before he completes his core items.

Force His Mobility: Bait out his Ultimate and mobility before committing to a fight.

Dive the Backline: Use assassins or high-mobility heroes to reach Ao’yin while he is repositioning.

Apply Anti-Heal: Reducing his healing makes it harder for him to sustain through extended fights.

Avoid Clumping: Spread out when possible so Ao’yin cannot easily control multiple targets.
